EYE OF THE BEHOLDER, 2015

Eye of the Beholder is a recording of a live digital video feedback loop created using an iPhone 6S connected to an Apple Macbook Air via Wifi. Manipulation of the angle and proximity of the iPhone camera to its own video output on the screen, as well as adjustments to exposure created the various familiar aesthetics of video feedback until a stable image emerged from the chaotic feedback. It held for a short time before falling back into the maelstrom of video feedback.
